The owner is even more famous — Manneken-Pis, the tiny fountain of a peeing boy known around the world as the symbol of Brussels.
Its interactive displays are perfect for children and adults of all ages. The Cinquantenaire Museum exhibits a broad range of objects from all five continents. Visitors are given infrared headphones in order to listen to almost musical extracts of the instruments on display. This museum sits atop the Mont des Arts Kunstberg the art and museum hill of the city. The Royal Museum contains over 20, drawings, sculptures, and paintings, which date from the early 15th century to the present. I actually missed one of my favourite parts of the Cinquantenaire Museum on my first visit.
It is dedicated to temporary exhibitions with costume, fashion and lace themes. It covers social history, cultural heritage, and decorative arts.
